We had a few dates picked out but once we sat down with the owner of our venue (which we put a deposit on) we finally decided on June 15th 2013. We wanted a Spring/Summer wedding, but we didn't want it to be too hot and we didn't want a high chance of rain. We though June was perfect, and The Mr. liked the fact that it was right in the middle of the year and right in the middle of month, easier for him to remember; he's such a man!
I love seeing our to do list get smaller, even if its little things like picking a date. We have also found our photographer and engagement pictures are in the works.
