The weekend!

The layout is done for now and I love it! April did an amazing job and Katie (the person who installed it) is amazing too. If I had a million dollars I would pay April to do all my designing I want done, on everything! Thanks again girls!

Today, Loryn and I are off to Yakima to visit Amanda and Kayleigh for the day. We'll be leaving here soon and I don't expect to be back until later this evening. It's going to be fun girls day! I have my niece all weekend long and so far it's been fun. We went to Famous Dave's last night for dinner and enjoyed the food, of course and the company was great. We got to bring our friend's daughter who is about the same age as Loryn; they get along so good so I love when they hang out. We then went to Josh and Jami's and hung out for a while and came home to sleep for today.

I need to remember to take pictures! I always miss the good stuff. Boo.

Okay, everyone have a great weekend! I'll post more later, I have some stuff to write about.

Pardon the dust...

My blog is currently in the process of being remade so please excuse the dust. I've talked about her before but one of my most favorite blog designers is the one who is creating the awesome layout and everything else you will see. She is truly amazing and I'm sure I've been bugging the crap out of her, but she's been so patient with me, I owe her.

Anyway, I have so much I want to blog about and I will once my blog is all put together and fancy looking. I've been writing my topics down and will save them for you!

Come back soon to see my new page! I think you'll like it!

Lazy Day

I've been extremely lazy today and part of me doesn't really care. How's that for honesty? You see, I spend 4 days a week running around with two very active little boys. We're always doing something! We're in the car a lot of the time, at social outings, swim lessons, the library, parks and the mall. When Friday comes, I'm pooped and ready for a rest.

I'm really not trying to complain because I love my job but today I'm seriously in a funk and getting out of it is becoming a challenge. I woke up at 8 o'clock and stayed in my PJ's until 11, when I finally made myself get in the shower. I took a shower, got dressed and returned right to the couch. It is now 2 pm and I haven't done anything productive, at all, all day.

If I wasn't feeling so damn lazy I would probably be: cleaning, doing laundry, working out, thinking of what to make for dinner, coming up with a grocery list, out in the community doing some secret top stuff that I can not disclose on the internet or napping.

Anyway, enough about me being lazy! Pablo and I are going grocery shopping when he gets home and it's never a fun time. He hates doing it and I hate it just as much! Obviously, it has to be done because we eat to live but if I could hire someone to do it for me, I would! Pablo told me when he lived in Atlanta he would order his groceries online and they would deliver them to his door, now that, my friends, is amazing! Why doesn't a local store offer that here in little Kennewick, WA? I have no doubt in my mind that we would use that service!

We don't have much planned for the weekend but we both have Monday off and I'm looking forward to that! It will be nice to sleep in and spend the day with my Love!

Okay, here I go to try to be productive....

Week 4, 5 and the start of 6

I've been meaning to blog the last couple of weeks but for some reason or another I just haven't gotten around to doing it. I was doing so well there for a while too. Life has gotten busy, the diet got a little harder and I got a swift kick in my butt.

Let me recap: Week 4 was an amazing week! I followed my diet to a T, worked out everyday and lost a total of 3.2 making my weight loss 16lbs even. I was so ecstatic and so pumped! I remember sitting in my WW meeting after weighing in and telling myself I was going to hit my 5% goal on week 5. But.....

It all started Super Bowl Sunday, we went to our friends house and there was a lot of people which makes for a lot of food and the rest is history. I just had a bad week in general though even though I did work out everyday but what's the point of working out if all you are putting in your body is crap, right? I gained on week 5 and it wasn't just like a small amount, no, I gained a total of 2 pounds. I walked in expecting to gain so I wasn't as disappointed as I could have been if I thought for sure I was going to lose but still, a set back is a set back. So, for week 5, it's a total of 14lbs lost since January 9th.

Week 6 started out kind of rough too but seems to be ending on the right track since yesterday morning. You see, Monday night was Valentine's Day and my Valentine cooked me an amazing dinner! It was so good! He did an amazing job and believe it or not, I even took pictures to share with everyone! Tuesday night, we had friends come over and again, I ate like a pig but it was so yummy! (Old habits are so hard to break!) I woke up Wednesday morning feeling like my throat was on fire and realized right away that my acid reflux had slowly but surly made it's way back! I was taking a shower and almost was in tears. I was doing so good, I had come along ways from when I first started and I told myself I was not going to just let a few days or weeks ruin something that I'm SO determined to do. I got out of the shower, got ready and have had two very healthy days since! I also wasn't drinking the amount of water that I should have been drinking and since I have the last two days, I've been in the restroom every hour! It's like starting all over again! UGH! WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!

I really really hope I can lose a pound or even the two I gained last week, but if I don't, I will be okay. It's just nice to see the number drop every week.

Back to Valentine's Day dinner. The Mr. cooked a rib eye steak, twice baked potato, caesar salad and garlic bread. We also shared a bottle of really stinkin' good red wine and had chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. It was an amazing dinner but I went WAY WAY WAYYYYYY over my points for the day and used most of my weekly points as well. I also go a dozen roses, a pillow pet (which I was extremely excited about) and two very small boxes of chocolate. I had an amazing Valentine's Day!
Here is it! So Yummy!

Finishing up the last touches, thank you Chef Macouzet.

Both plates

All done! I was so full!

My beautiful roses that made the center piece for dinner.

So, it was good, leave us alone!

Dessert! We made them together too!

Happy 2nd Valentine's Day!
