Vacations, Holidays and Packing

Holy Moly! It's been almost a month since I've blogged. Over the past month we've been to Seattle, enjoyed 3 baseball games, spent the 4th of July with my family, got the keys for our duplex, worked a whole hell of a lot and we are now currently in the middle of packing.

Before I go any further, I just want to say that moving sucks. It really really sucks. My plan is to retire in this duplex, just kidding, but really, moving could death of me. The Mr. has done A LOT of work by himself, he's truly been amazing through all of this. While I'm working he's been packing and moving the boxes down into the garage all by himself. Needless to say, he's been extra tired and super sore, we just keep telling ourselves it will all be over soon.

Seattle was a blast, we watched the Braves sweep the Mariners, made it on TV and ate some amazing ballpark food. We didn't do much "tourist" activity only because we've done it all before. You can only go to the top of the Space Needle so many times before it becomes old.

For the 4th of July, we went to Othello and spent the day with my family, in the back yard, doing nothing but soaking up the sun and enjoying each others company; it was so nice. Once it got dark, we headed to Lions Park to watch the fireworks which turned out to be a great show. Othello did a really nice job this year!

Other than that, not a lot has been going on. Our main goal right now is to get out of the apartment and into the duplex. Next weekend we'll be moving everything over to the duplex and will be officially living there. We have until the end of the month to clean and detail everything at the apartment so we can turn the keys in. I will be forever grateful when this is all over, I regret ever saying I wanted a bigger place.

Once we get into the duplex and semi settled in, I'll post pictures. Until then....Happy Packing! :-)
