Here again

The past week and a half has flow by and I just realized I haven't blogged for a while either. We made it to Montana and back home with out any trouble. The show wasn't all what we expected it to be, but that's okay, who knows what will happen because of it! The weather was not the best, it was really cold, windy and it rained a little bit. It was a different kind of cold, kind of like a bone chilling cold; it took us awhile to get warm once we got back inside. I really was glad to be home and I don't see myself going to Montana anytime soon.

This week flew by but I'm glad Friday is here! Pablo and I are in the process of looking for a house to rent but finding a place that will allow animals has been our biggest problem. I know with time we will find the right place for us, and we just recently started actively looking, so with good time, something should fall into place. I'm really not looking forward to moving but I know it's a good step in our future and in our relationship!

I suppose I should update on my blog about my sister. She ended up calling me and we have been in touch for about two weeks now. She is doing really good and taking it one day at time. She realizes now that the situation she was in was a bad one and has taken the steps to remove those things out of her life. She is still taking one day at a time, of course. She lived this life for about 7 years and I can only imagine how hard it would be to walk away from something you've known everyday for the past 7 years, even if it was a horrible, no good, very bad situation. With time I know everything is going to fall into place. I pray she continues to stay strong and makes the right choices. Pray with me, will you?

Other then that, things are great in my world. Maybe that's why I haven't updated lately, who knows. I will keep you updated on the house hunt! I pray we find something amazing!

Fixin' to leave

This weekend I will be in Missoula Montana doing a Scentsy show with my amazing director. I'm excited to go but at the same time I'm dreading the trip. I'm not a big fan of being away from home, it stresses me out and I hate being out of my element. I'm excited to spend some time with Debbie and do some major Scentsy business.

Today I spent the day doing some cleaning around the apartment. You know, the little things that get missed here and there. I striped the bed and washed the sheets and blankets, washed all our throw blankets that Rambo has seemed to make his own. I cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom, caught up on a little bit laundry and cleaned the kitchen table. We have a glass table and I have a love hate relationship with it. I love the way it looks, it's beautiful, but I hate that it gets dirty so easily. I wipe it down every night but I really clean it once a week, like bring out the windex kind clean.

I'm hoping the apartment stays clean while I'm gone. The sink is currently empty, everything is dusted, laundry is done and all I have left to do is pack, really. I dread packing.

It's Spring break around the city but the weather doesn't seem to think it's Spring. I hope it gets warm soon! I'm getting Spring fever, bad!
